Why Funerals?
Simply put
Typically Speaking in general - as a society we celebrate all of the amazing wonders of LIFE. We party, plan celebrations, put money in cards for weddings, baby births, birthdays, anniversaries, help someone go on a honey moon, have dinners for school and work promotions, holidays, or even a ‘just because’ and so much more. What happens when all of those fun celebratory times come to an end? Many of those same people that gave you money for the good times in life - are less likely to help you pay for a funeral because it is depressing. Who is going to help you pay for the casket, the make up artist, embalming, the funeral home expense, the burial or cremation, the fees to the morgue, even the death certificate?
If a person gave you $20.00 for your birthday, is that same person going to give you $20.00 towards a final farewell for your loved one?
Kind of deep, isn’t it?
That is why I chose to create this non-profit. To help with the end of the circle of life, the end of one’s seasons. We don’t typically plan for death. The funeral home will ask if there are death benefits, insurance, prepaid funeral expenses… ‘Many’ people will say no.
So where does the money come from? How will you afford the expenses?
When you pay for those expenses - who is going to pay for the casket piece or flowers around the urn? Last thought but ever so depressing if you don’t have the means to have a beautiful setting for that final farewell. That’s where we come in. I want to help you have that final peace of mind that you were able to offer one last gift - the gift of a beautiful final farewell. We talk to you about what your person loved in life. Favorite colors, favorite past time, military, sports… then the arrangements are customized. When you think of the funeral and those final moments - you will have some sort of piece of mind that you didn’t just put flowers on the casket or around the urn - you were able to have flowers that represented their life.
